Letter from the Editor
This letter is from the Literary Leanings project. As the sole editor on this project, I wanted to stress the importance of literature and perhaps motivate readers to either share literature with others or to find different venues of experiencing literature. Not only did I research the facts about literature included in this letter, but I also designed this spread to include in Literary Leanings.
Student Editor, Outlet Literary Journal
This was part of an upper-level English course at BYU - Idaho. It was our responsibility as a class to critically read the submissions for BYU - Idaho's literary journal and decided which literary pieces would be published in Outlet. This assignment taught me to distinguish between excellent and average literature, and gave me a great opportunity to debate over which creative writing should be included in the journal.
